Head to the mountains for the day. Bowness is your launch point: Kananaskis (Prairie Mountain Trailhead) is 45 minutes away, Banff is about 90 minutes out, and Lake Louise around two hours — close enough to leave after breakfast and be back for dinner. Closer, in Bowness Park — a lagoon, pathways, and the Bow River — is a five-minute drive, and WinSport is minutes from the door for tubing, skiing, mountain biking and other year-round attractions.
Room to actually be together. Everyone under one roof means shared space to gather and private space to recharge — the main kitchen and living area for group meals.
